Why we believe

The Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, is the inspired word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason.

(II Timothy 3:14-17; Isaiah 40:8; Mathew 24:35; Revelation 22:19)

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and he broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, “take eat, this is My Body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them saying, drink ye all of it, for this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

This church believes all human life is sacred.  Accordingly, we affirm the sanctity of human life based on firm conviction that life begins at the moment of conception and any interference throughout that lifetime is contrary to the will of God.  The magnificence of our Creator is reflected in the way He has made each of us.  Every single individual has been made in His likeness and endowed with glory and honor.

It is also the conviction of this church that all individuals are born into this world either male or female. Two distinct but complimentary genders assigned by God's authority and chosen for His purpose. Any type of rejection of a God given gender is a denial of the desired design of God for that person. (Genesis 1:27)
